With a history of development for hundreds of years and a great potential in practical application, distance learning or online learning has helped the education sector become not only the most afortable field for all classes of the population, but also a field with high potential for profits (estimated at 325 billion USD by 2025!).
Online education is an emerging industry with huge growth potential. Online/distance education in universities will develop continuously and rapidly in the coming years. The education system must use the advantage of computer-aided courses as well as the advantage of talented instructors everywhere in the world to create more and more quality training courses and educational programs related software for distance learning on the network and do everything possible to contribute to the process of distance learning becoming more convenient and creative every time we build and operate educational institutions… By Perhaps, we are entering a new era of education- The Era of “Online Education Revolution”!
Grasping the new trend of education, especially the trend of the revolution in online education, Nguyen Trai University has actively sought out reputable and experienced online training partners to cooperate. On August 5, 2022, at the headquarters of Nguyen Trai University, Rector of Nguyen Trai University – Dr. Nguyen Tien Luan and Rector of SRH Mobile University of Germany (SRH University) – Prof. Dr. Ottmar Schneck signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly build the Vietnam-Germany International University 4.0 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
SRH University is an online university that has more than 25 years established and developed. It is the largest private university in the German State of Baden-Württemberg recognized by the state government and the German university accreditation system. In 2022, for the fourth time, SRH University was voted the most popular distance learning university in Germany. Prof. Dr. Ottmar Schneck, the SRH University’s Rector, was recently elected President of the Association of German Private Universities. The professor is also someone who is committed to pioneering digitization in the field of higher education.
SRH university currently has 22 training centers in Europe, and so far has established cooperation with 24 international partners, including Nguyen Trai University. SRH has 45 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs as well as more than 24 university certificate programs in cooperation with leading German companies in 4 main areas: Health and Social Sciences; Business and Management; Psychology and Communication; Digitization and Technology. All SRH degree programs and certificate courses are certified through the German Central Agency for Distance Learning (ZFU). The University’s training programs are taught in both German and English. For international students, including Vietnam, courses in English require an English input of B2 according to European standards, equivalent to 5.5-6.0 IELTS.
Currently, SRH University has more than 8,500 students including international one studying. More than 90% of the university’s students after graduation have jobs. Many large companies that are training partners of the university are willing to offer training scholarships to talented students with the condition that upon graduation they must commit to working for the company for a certain number of years. Since SRH’s partners are mostly large German companies, the income level if accepted will also be very attractive.
In order to design training programs that best suit the requirements and conditions of Vietnam, SRH would grant 10 free 6-month scholarships to qualified students to participate in the pilot course. These students have the initiative to choose subjects that are suitable for the requirements of their chosen major. After the course, students will have to report on their learning results, the reasons for choosing the subject, so that the university can summarize, evaluate and build the best training programs specifically for Vietnam. Thus, if they continue to study, these students only have to pay tuition fees for the remaining study period and the number of credits/certificates studied in the 6 months of trial will be counted towards the total number of credits/certificates for the course.
Possessing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from SRH university, with Vietnamese students, they can completely apply for jobs in Germany as well as throughout Europe if they want or can simply travel to Germany and Europe with a job seeking visa in Germany with a minimum term of 6 months to 18 months depending on the field of study when applying for a visa at the German Embassy in Hanoi. Moreover, SRH University also has online career services (Jobteaser) for job placement in Germany through SRH’s extensive corporate business network (no extra costs). These are very good conditions for students who want to have practicalexperience abroad as well as have a high income after graduating from university.
